Reverse Funnel System Is Online Marketing Brilliance

Reverse Funnel System Is Online Marketing Brilliance

Reverse Funnel System Is Online Marketing Brilliance

Making money with Ty Couglin's Reverse Funnel System is, in my opinion, one of the best sales systems that I have seen in the internet marketing industry in a very long time. The entire marketing campaign is set up for you so all you need to do is drive traffic.

The reverse funnel system can work for you if you are willing to put forth the effort to get traffic. Once you have acquired a lead that's interested in the product everything from that point on is done for you, including follow up emails, phone calls and teleseminars. I have performed all these functions in promoting my internet marketing training business and know first hand how much effort is required to develop an autoresponder sequence, follow-up calls and performing the teleconference. That alone is a lot of work and with my training program I still have to drive the traffic as well. Talk about heavy work load!

Ty's Reverse Funnel System takes most of the hard work off your hands and allows you to only have to drive traffic. For some driving traffic is a very difficult and confusing task which is why I have released a free internet marketing report called The Constant Conversation, to get a copy make sure you copy and paste this URL into your browser.

This report will show you how to get traffic into the Reverse Funnel System without having to register web hosting or a domain name. Your only investment will be buying into the system and after that it only requires you to put forth some effort.

Now, driving traffic via the internet is just one way to build traffic, I have had success posting notices in public places including bathroom stalls and have actually made sales that way. Other's have delivered flyers door to door and had success.

Consider running advertising in local newspapers, where I live there are free bi-weekly papers that are delivered to every home and the advertising is very cheap.

As I have already mentioned, if you have the desire to succeed it will take some effort and creativity on your part to find traffic sources however if you get your copy of The Constant Conversation you will have the knowledge you need to make money with the Reverse Funnel System. Get on board right now, I have never seen a product convert at such a phenomenal rate nor have I seen commissions as high as they are with RFS.

A burning desire to create a better lifestyle for yourself is all that's needed to make this work for you plus a little knowledge about driving traffic to a website link and that's provided for you at no cost via my report.

Never before have I seen such a profitable system as the Reverse Funnel, when choosing products to promote, the amount you can earn should be a key focus and with Ty Coughlin's Reverse Funnel Marketing System I am earning $1000 per sale, imagine the difference in your life if you make only one sale a week!

If you are like most people, you've pledged, whether enthusiastically or begrudgingly, a few New Years' resolutions for 2006. One resolution you may not have considered is improving your website results in the coming year. Think about it, how many of your resolutions have the real potential of adding to your bottom line? If your website isn't providing results, it's time for a change.

Align your site with your business objectives

If you're planning a site redesign, major update or revamp this year, take a holistic approach. Don't just update the look and feel-think about how your website can help you accomplish your business objectives. What is the purpose of your site? What is your site's primary goal? Are you trying to generate qualified leads, increase shareholder interest, educate and inform, better service existing customers, attract new employees or business partners, increase sales and performance? Each web page should have an underlying purpose/goal and a conspicuous call-to-action.

Optimize your site for the search engines

Your website will have little to no effect on your bottom line if your prospects can't find it. Ensure that you include search engine optimization and/or advertising in your annual Web budget. There is no better way to drive targeted qualified visitors to your website! In order to be successful, search engine optimization, performance measurement and tuning need to become constants in your site development and maintenance process.

Optimize your site for your customers

Set aside a percentage of your annual Web budget to continually optimize, measure and tune your customer's experience. Make your site easy to use, clarify the unique value proposition and lead your prospects step-by-step to your calls-to-action. Focus on site usability issues, improving calls-to-action, effective customer-focused copy, opt-in subscription type funnels, increasing conversion rates and decreasing page and/or shopping cart abandonment rates.

Focus on your site's performance

Track, measure, and analyze your site's performance carefully. Understanding how visitors use your site will help you identify where you should spend your time. Focus on improving the performance of your key metrics. What are your conversion rates and how can you improve on them? Which pages are working? What copy needs to be tweaked? What content needs to go? What are you doing right? Spend your dollars on improving the underperforming areas.

Resolve to focus on website results in 2006!

Concentrate on those areas with the greatest upside and largest effect on your bottom line!

Truth Of Ty Coughlin Reverse Funnel System - A Home Business Scam?

Truth Of Ty Coughlin Reverse Funnel System - A Home Business Scam?

Truth Of Ty Coughlin Reverse Funnel System - A Home Business Scam?

Most of you who are interested in looking for a sustainable home business system should know the current popular home business system on the web is EDC GOLD, Diamond, road map to riches and finally the reverse funnel system. The content of this article will be focusing on providing info of Ty Coughlins reverse funnel system, is it just another scam?

Who is Ty Coughlin, Coughlin is creator of the marketing online system called everse funnel system proclaimed on the home page RFS website stating he once was construction worker year before developed this very system. However, the truth is Ty was actually involved other MLM marketing activity even before the wealth funnel system ever existed back few years ago. So why covering up the true identity, simple! By referring to himself as an average Joe can easily leverage himself to audience, is all based on the strategist of the human psychology

Basically, those conduct research upon the operation of RSF should realize a fee of 50 dollar is required for additional info prior to the operation of the RSF. Let alone then you l require another separate fee of 3000 dollar at least for registration entry as a new member. Ok I thinks that enough cost for a home business program to market online right, NO. Then an additional of 5000 to 8000 thousands dollar devoted into budget of advertising (uninformed until paid) to the site.

The reverse funnel system is an automated system that delivers sales process recruiting people into your business for you without manually doing anything. So what is this essentially claimed product they e offering that guarantee wealthy income, if done some research again they e working on the distribution services of Global resort network (GRN), a developed company mainly to provide a life long travel membership to its clients. To the point, The GRN of the reverse funnel claimed an amount of 250 dollar will get you to several of main region country along with luxury hotel etc, but if you do have basic knowledge of traveling expense surely that amount is not enough to cover all that luxury. That pretty much defines the impression of RFS, not a very positive impression. In terms of longevity of the RFS, investing a large assumption of money of 8000 dollar into the program, with this initial investment being set beyond the limit of average American, it really is matter of time investors totally worn out.

Well there's is always another home base business available out there to be seeking that is legitimate right? There is, the Wealth Funnel System created by Derrick Harper, home base business allow you to work online that specifically designed to train its member properly market online in home business. The wealthfunnelsystem leads its member firstly into stream one revenue opportunity that actually prepares you for bigger revenue product to market online in the future. By understanding the fundamental concept of marketing in the online and offline world, leading potential income and consumer to your website will be conveniently easy that can set assure for many years to come.

Comparing the wealthfunnelsystem to reverse funnel system as home business program, the major difference revolves around them that wealthfunnelsystem is not a quick rich scheme and educate with capability to develop a personal business independently within near future.

A Tale Of Two Salesmen

A Tale Of Two Salesmen

A Tale Of Two Salesmen

We've all heard the expression "He's a born salesman!" at one time or another. The saying implies that there are some people that are more apt to being successful at sales than others. These people walk out the door, open their arms, and deals just fall out of the sky and into their arms because they have the Midas touch. Without question, there are people that actually are born salesman. They have the personality, charisma, and confidence that it takes and people are naturally drawn to them. But can you only succeed in sales if you are one of these people?

The answer that that question is a resounding "NO!". The fact is that most people that are successful at sales don't fit this bill. Most people who are successful actually have many other things working for them rather than they are the center of attention and the life of the party when they show up. The truth is that a systematic salesman will beat a natural salesman, any day of the week.

A salesman with a system is more effective because if you break sales down into two parts, there are qualified prospects as well as converting those prospects into customers. Born salesman tend to be more of the 'fly by the seat of their pants' type and they largely live off referrals from people that like doing business with them. Sure, many successful salesman ask for the referrals, but there is nothing systematic about it at all. They might bring it up, they might not. It depends on whether or not they remember. A salesman with a system actually has a process for everything so it's consistent. They excel at bringing quality prospects into the funnel and working them down until they convert into customers. They have a process for weeding out unqualified customers, putting prospects on follow-up campaigns based on the situation, and for asking and receiving referrals and testimonials. While the born salesman might win at converting more prospects into customers because of their winning personality, the systematic salesman will do a better job at bringing more leads into the sales funnel, staying consistent to turn them into customers, and then leveraging the new customers in a systematic way to ensure they can get more referrals from those customers.

So don't fret if you aren't as personable as the next guy. The key is to know what is the ideal way to convert prospects into buyers and to get referrals. It might be that it takes an average of 12 contacts to get a new customer. Most salespeople will stop at 2 because they can't remember when or who to call, but by setting up proper systems using CRM Software, you can be the person that gets to 12 and wins the customer. Sales is about numbers, no matter what sales trainer tells you. By knowing your metrics and knowing what the most efficient way to obtain a customer, you can setup your system so you always have a consistent and full pipeline. Why rely on your charm, when you can rely on your brain!

How To Double Your Business in 2006, Part II

How To Double Your Business in 2006, Part II

How To Double Your Business in 2006, Part II

In part one of this article, we talked about the importance of database management in the success of your business. If you haven't already started your database, it is absolutely critical that you go back to part one of this article and get started on your database before moving on to part II. This essential business strategy is the foundation for your goal of doubling your business in 2006.

Now that you have your database underway, it's time for me to reveal five more strategies that I used to double my business in 2004 and more than double my business in 2005. Let's get started.

Multiple sources of business

Part one of this article ended with one of the most difficult questions that every business faces: Where will you get the prospects to start building your database?

Depending on your business, it should not be a difficult task to brainstorm 10 different ways in which you could come into contact with potential prospects. No matter what your business is, here are a few sources for prospects to get the gears in your brain going: Friends and relatives, hobbies, church, internet or website promotion, writing articles for the newspaper or local newsletters, aligning with business partners who could refer their clients to you, door to door, purchasing lists, direct mail, leads groups, volunteering, and referrals from past clients.

Some of these methods may not be your cup of tea, but there should at least be a few that seem like something you can get your arms around.

One of the critical mistakes a failing business makes is to rely on only one source of business for generating prospects. I made this mistake early in my career by focusing completely on the internet. The problem was that if the internet didn't produce a good crop of prospects one month, I would go through the inevitable up and down roller-coaster ride that many business people experience.

The secret to an ever-growing and consistent buseness is to choose four or five sources of business that can consistently, month in and month out, funnel quality prospects in your direction.

Why four or five you ask? The reason is that if you diversify into several sources, if one is not productive one month, the others will still provide you with quality, fresh prospects. Instead of the up and down roller-coaster, you will instead be on a steady upward sales trend that will continue to grow over time.

So now that you are producing quality prospects, what do you do with them? That goes into the next strategy:

Consistent follow up

I operate under the philosophy of "never give up on a prospect." I have systems in place to consistently and continuously follow up with prospects, clients, and business partners literally forever. Most of these systems are on auto-pilot and actually take very little of my personal attention on a day-to-day basis.

If you start operating with this follow-up philosophy in mind, and you are continuously cramming your sales funnel full of quality prospects, eventually they will start coming out the other end at a faster and faster rate. Here is an example of a simple follow up system that you could use for your prospects:

Once per month: informational email (article, ezine)

Every two months: email hello (conversational, "How are you doing and can I help you?")

Phone call every 3 months

Snail mail newletter every 3 months (alternate with phone call)

Using this approach, you are hitting the prospect 26 times per year with different forms of media on a consistent basis. It is important that you use email, regular mail, phone, and any other method you can think of to stay in touch as not all people respond to the same types of contact. It is not a miracle that when it comes time to buy, they will think of you first.

And what makes this all possible? Your bullet-proof database system, of course.

Hard work

There is no substitute for this basic strategy. Work hard and you will see results. If you find it difficult to work a long day, try getting to work just a half hour earlier every day, and leaving a half hour later. That will add 5 hours to your week which you can use to generate more business.

Ask for Referrals

Most of your clients, if you are doing an outstanding job, would gladly refer a friend, family member, or co-worker to you, but many times they do not even think of it unless you mention it. Don't be shy after you have done a good job for a client, to directly ask them for a referral, you deserve it.

Be specific and ask for a referral from a specific group within your client's circle of influence. For example, ask them if they have a co-worker who could use your services, or ask for a referral of a friend from their church if you know they are active in church. This helps your client focus in on a manageable segment of their circle of influence so they can more easily think of a particular person who could use your service.

Be Ethical

This last business building strategy seems obvious, but it has to be mentioned. You absolutely must do business in an ethical, honest manner, with the best interests of your client in mind at all times.

Run your business with a long term philosophy of repeat clients and word-of-mouth advertising in mind. If you are ethical, people sense it and will gravitate to you and trust you. With a loyal base of clients, you will eventually build a solid business that will withstand the test of time and provide you with a long term, rewarding career.

Triple Your Business in 2006?

It is my sincere desire that these strategies will help you achieve the kind of success I have had the past two years. My personal goal is to no less than triple my business in 2006, and after two years of seeing these systems develop, this goal seems very attainable. If you would like one-on-one coaching on more specific strategies I have used, please consider me a resource and feel free to contact me. Good luck in 2006!

The Seven Characteristics of Incredibly Successful Web Sites

The Seven Characteristics of Incredibly Successful Web Sites

The Seven Characteristics of Incredibly Successful Web Sites

If you want to do business online, you need a web site.

Your web site will be your advertisement, your storefront, your salesperson, and your cash register! That's why it is so important to pay careful attention to every aspect of your web site's development.

1. It has its own domain name.

Having your own domain makes your web site easier to find and more likely to come up in search engines.

It also demonstrates an image of stability and that your business is a serious one. Make sure the domain name is catchy, easy to remember, and suitable for your business.

Forget about .net, .org, or .biz! Everyone remembers .com more than .net. It's that simple. It's positioning!

A good .com domain name is going to pay for itself a thousand times over...faster than any .net or .org address ever could.

I know that all of the good .com domain names are gone; however, just get creative with your .com name. Register your domain name now. You should not pay more than $10 for a domain name. Shop around. I use godaddy.com.

2. It has fast loading web pages.

If your web site loads slowly, your prospective clients may not be willing to wait and may never come back to your site. Web surfers are extremely impatient.

Remember that not everyone is using cable or DSL.

There are still a lot of people out there using 28.8K, 33.6K, or 56.6K modems. Just look at how many people are using AOL's dial-up service - 35 million members!

Unless you don't want to do business with those 35 million people, don't overload your web site with fancy graphics that are slow to load. Get out a timer and stare at your screen for 10 seconds.

It seems like forever, doesn't it?

How long does it take for your home page to load? What can you do to make it load faster? Bottom line: You cannot have a home page that loads too fast.

3. It includes an opt-in email list.

Do this as quickly as possible.

From your home page, give your visitors a good reason to give you their email addresses. Offer them a free report, a free sample, a free newsletter, or free information updates.

Get their email addresses and their permission to contact them. What do you do after you capture their email addresses?

Regularly send them valuable information, offers, sales, ads, and more! If subscribers don't buy from you now, they might do so eventually. It's common to hear from new customers: "I've been getting your newsletter for years and figured it was time to buy."

A good email list collected by your web site is priceless. I know a consultant who generates six figures in sales every year with her home-grown email list.

She simply attracts people who are interested in getting the information, puts them on her list, and sends them good information on a regular basis.

Your email list becomes a continuous source of sales for you. Do you want to know how successful online businesses stay profitable year after year?

They have a good list.

Do you want to know why so many online businesses fold within months of starting?

They don't have a list. It's often as simple as that.

4. It targets a specific niche.

Don't try to be a jack-of-all-trades, or else you will end up being a master of none.

The most ineffective sites try to put together a hodgepodge of information on many different subjects and topics.

The key to success online is to focus.

You need to make sure that your whole web site only focuses on one niche market.

Don't sell computer software and Dragon Ball trading cards on the same site! Don't try to mix up 20 different affiliate programs on your site.

It simply won't work.

Don't confuse your visitors. The confused mind always says NO.

Sell one lead-generating product and get them into your marketing funnel so that you can offer them additional products afterwards.

Don't buy into Internet offers. Just because someone else made $100,000 last month with a specific product doesn't mean YOU should be selling it.

You can make money with anything online if you position it correctly.

You just have to find a product that is fun for you and whose market you know how to target.

The most successful people are almost always the ones who have chosen the product they LOVE selling.

5. The pages are easy to navigate.

Your web site should be easy to navigate.

Don't make your visitors jump through hoops before you give them the information they need.

Make it easy for your visitors to move through your site. They'll stick around longer and will be more likely to visit your site again.

Provide text links or icons on each page so that people can easily click back and forth through your site without having to use the "back" and "forward" buttons on their browsers. Include well-labeled navigation buttons along the top, bottom, or side of each page to allow visitors to easily return to your home page.

The same goes for making it easy for them to find your order forms or other product information. That's because some visitors may arrive at your web site at a page other than your home page.

Are you making it easy for them to find their way around the rest of your web site?

Check out Seth Godin's book The Big Red Fez. It is a great book on how to make any web site better and an excellent place for anyone to start.

6. It lets visitors know who the business owner is.

Include your name, company information, email address, complete address (not P.O. box), phone, and fax numbers.

Remember, people tend to be skeptical on the Internet. You can boost your credibility instantly by letting people know exactly who you are and how they can contact you. Real phone numbers, real names, and real addresses make a HUGE difference!

7. It offers a simple way to make a purchase.

Do you have a merchant account?

Do you accept all major credit cards online?

Do you have a secure ordering method?

By accepting credit cards online, you can dramatically increase the number of orders you receive.

I am amazed at how many web sites make it tough to order from them.

You have to sign up first before you can order.

They don't accept all major credit cards. You have to go through 10 steps to place your order. And this is at the point when you are trying to give them money!

You should be ready to take money from your customers in any form whether it is by phone, fax, online, or money orders or checks in the mail.

Why say no to a sale? Make it easy and fast for your customers to order from you. You may have heard that it's tough to get a merchant account. Forget about getting a merchant account from your local bank. They don't understand e-commerce.

If you want to know which one I use or recommend, send me an email. I can point you to one of the nation's largest issuers of merchant accounts.

Their approval rate is 99 percent. Their accounts are very easy to set up and very inexpensive, usually less than $100.

Spend some time and do some planning. Make sure your web site will deliver results!

Don't overlook these simple habits. Don't lose sight of why you developed your site in the first place.

Every aspect of your site should somehow contribute to your goal-be it to sell, inform, or simply entertain.

Creating An Effective Online Presence Part One

Creating An Effective Online Presence Part One

Creating An Effective Online Presence Part One

I have learned so much over the past year about creating an online presence. There is so very much to know and most people who start their own businesses really don't know how to create, maximize and leverage their online presence.

I will give you just a summary of what I've learned over the past year from reading, masterminding and coaching. I know I have only scratched the surface but if I can in any way cut down on your learning curve by sharing the things I've already learned, then that's what I want to do.

Niche Marketing

This is the first thing you learn when creating an online presence. It's about narrowing your focus. It is not possible to be all things to all people and when you try, you end up watering down your message and in essence, being nothing to no one. This probably was the hardest lesson I learned. I fought the whole niche marketing idea because I believed that my niche was choice theory and I know choice theory applied to every possible life situation. While I still believe that this is true, I need to focus my marketing efforts on a much more specific and targeted niche. While I am still refining this, I have decided to market to two basic niches. The first is small to midsize companies who are interested in creating, inspiring and leveraging diversity in the workforce and the second is managers interested in learning Empowered Leadership to increase production, improve quality and reduce employee turnover.

What is your niche? You know you have a good one if you can identify how to find them. You need to know what they read, what entertainment they gravitate toward, and what groups they belong to. It is your goal to ultimately obtain a mailing list or email list to be able to market to your niche. If you can obtain a list, then you have a well-narrowed niche.

Creating a List

This is perhaps the most important asset to an online business-the email list of potential customers and prospects. When doing business online, it is critically important to capture prospects' email opt-in addresses so you can begin to market to them. The best way to get people to give you their email address is to offer them something compelling. This is intricately tied to your niche. Find out something they are looking for-create a giveaway product in exchange for getting their email address. You can see how critical it is to have correctly identified your niche market because if you offer a list of cat owner's information on how to train their dogs, you can see how that might not entice them to provide you with their email address. It must be information they are hungry for.

The opt-in part is also important. You can't just go add people's email addresses to your mailing list. That is considered spamming. They must have the opportunity to opt-in, as well as the opportunity to remove their address from your database. Don't ruin your business before it gets started by tainting your reputation unnecessarily.

Sales Letters

Sales letters are very important. If there is one thing I'd like to outsource, it would be sales letters. They are not fun for me to do but they may be fun for you. There are several things to be considered in a sales letter. First of all, research shows that the longer a sales letter is the better. It must have a captivating title. It must be filled with information about WIIFM-What's In It For Me, meaning your readers or potential customers. This is again tied to the first point about niche marketing. Your sales letter will be most effective when you can write as if you know the mind of the reader. You must understand their pain or speak to a goal they have. How can you be specific enough if you haven't narrowed your niche? You can't.

The letter should be crafted with both the skimming reader and the detail reader in mind. This means making main points subheadings so the person who skims can get the general idea of what you are talking about just by skimming the headings. However, include sufficient detail to convince the person who is interested in lots of facts and statistics. You don't want to write your letter with only one group in mind because then you will lose out on the possibility of selling to the group you omitted.

Create products and services your niche is hungry for and then tell them why they must have your product to either solve their problem or help them become more successful.

Sales letters must have an urgent call to action. Create some type of advantage for those who act NOW. Research shows that even if a person is interested in what you are offering, if they don't act as they are reading your letter and decide to wait for another day, they never come back to it. Get them to act now by making it worth their while. You can even offer an extra incentive for the first 20 people who respond. It's up to you.

Articles

Writing articles is a tremendous way to get your name out there to the general public. I write at least two articles each month. I used to have my virtual assistant submit each one to online article banks individually. Now, for $100, I submit my article to I-Snare and they do the submitting for me. They will submit 100 articles for my $100 which is much more cost-effective than having to pay my assistant to do it.

The purpose of writing is to help readers get to know you and what you have to offer. When you write, you are not necessarily trying to sell something-you are basically providing useful information, just like this article does. And you get to include a bio box at the end with a link back to your website home page, a product page or a sales letter. This will help increase the traffic to your website and it will be a targeted audience, meaning those who are already interested in what you have to say.

These are just some of the things you want to give attention to as you develop your presence on the World Wide Web. My next article will focus on writing press releases, generating search engine traffic and getting listed in various online directories. Then, we will discuss writing a blog, producing an online newsletter, creating a sales funnel and embarking on joint ventures.

IT Consulting: The Final Three Steps

IT Consulting: The Final Three Steps

IT Consulting: The Final Three Steps

These are the final three of the 21 steps you need to take to make your transition from part-timer moonlighting into full-time IT consulting.

Step 19 Never Stop Meeting New People

Attend networking meetings regularly. Keep expanding your IT consulting prospect file even when you're really, really busy. You're always going to need people in your funnel. Get to know the organization's programming needs, what kind of speakers panels and educational programs they have, etc. Volunteer to speak at an upcoming meeting on an IT-related topic.

Speaking is such a powerful way your clients. Speaking at a chamber of commerce event or rotary seminar can get you a huge pool of potential future IT consulting clients and business contacts.

Step 20: Plan your first cold direct mail postcard campaign.

It's really important to use some kind of targeting method. Narrow it down to something so you're picking a list of certain occupation certain industry so you can write advertising copy that can address their needs. Set a deadline for a free analysis.

Mail a 1000 card postcard test and measure response. Assuming you get a decent response and you establish a control, mail 1000 or 2000 cards a month. You should look to spend $300 - $700 depending on how much your rented mailing list is. A good modest goal would be a 1 percent response rate so you get 10 to 20 inquiries for you to add to your IT consulting sales funnel.

Step 21: Set Up an Effective Follow-Up System.

Keep attending networking events, get the contacts that you meet at those networking events into an effective follow-up system, keep going to the meetings on a regular basis, and do targeted mail and keep doing those four things until you have enough leads and billable work. Even when you're really, really busy, with IT consulting, keep up these activities.

Go to a networking event every other week and still try to get some postcards out once a month because. Within ninety days, a good modest goal would be to pick up at least 3 to 5 steady clients so you can be well on your way to full-time IT consulting income. Go to the events so you can understand what's driving your prospects nuts with their computers and how you can help.

Develop a follow-up system so you can stay in front of them until they're ready to raise their hands and say, "We need you now." Keep going to more of those meetings, get on the radar screen as an expert so you can be on panels and then gradually start to do some targeted direct mail.

If you are like many people, you have been searching for a real home based business...a way to make money from home with an Internet business. A home based business that actually works. And you desperately do not want to get SCAMMED! You don't want to get sucked into an online money making program... that does NOT WORK and DOES NOT MAKE MONEY. But how do you know if these online business programs really work?

In your Google searches for, (home based businesses, make money from home, work from home, etc.)... you have probably heard of EDC, EDC Gold, EDC Diamond, Craig Garcia & Michael Corcoran. EDC is known to be a popular Internet home business money earning opportunity. But is it really?

I must admit, I was very skeptical at first because of all the claims of people earning more money than their doctors. People claiming to earn fantastic incomes of $20,000 to over $100,000 PER MONTH! It really sounds way too good to be true.

After doing tons of research on this company and talking with many people inside and outside of the company...I came to this conclusion...

EDC, EDC Gold and EDC Diamond is NOT A SCAM. It is an honest, real business. However...they do have some glaring shortcomings!

There are tons of members who have yet to make their first dime with the program! They have a pretty high failure rate of people who have signed up, invested the money, invested in marketing...and given up due to not being able to get a single person to sign up with them and making NO MONEY!

EDC, (Easy Daily Cash), is not a MLM program. It's direct sales on the Internet. The company offers complete access to almost 3,000 different software downloads. They promote the software as being "valuable". There are several dozen really good software titles, however...you can find most of the software titles on the Internet for FREE if you are willing to search around a bit. I have found the majority of their downloads to be tired, low value ebooks, etc. that have very little valuable information. Certainly not worth the cost of admission!

Training--- Unless you are already an Internet marketing expert...the odds of you succeeding in your own home based Internet business without the PROPER training are slim to none. So...the TRAINING you receive is EVERYTHING and should be the most important factor in deciding which home based Internet business to join!

FIRST...EDC does offer training for their online business. However, I have found it to be a mile wide and an inch deep. I think this is the most lacking issue with EDC. If their members are not properly trained to successfully market online, they will not succeed. And that is why many of them do not.

I was on a "training call" one night listening to the president of EDC, Craig Garcia, teach his members how to sell new members. He had a list of "hot leads" of "prospective opportunity seekers" that they had purchased and he was cold calling them on the phone... at home... at night... with several hundred EDC members quietly listening in on the calls. It was PAINFULL!

Either no one was home or... when he did reach people at home, every single one of them... without exception... was just a rude as they could be. "Why are you calling me at home? Where did you get my number? No, I am not interested in a business opportunity. Don't call this number again." Not even one of them... was even remotely interested. Ugggg. It was really ugly.

I don't know about you...but if you are looking to join a home based business that operates online...you want the ONLINE SYSTEM working for you and doing the majority of the work. If it is truly an online business...why are you calling prospects on the phone? Why not use the Internet??? I thought that was the idea??

So, make no mistake about it, there are people who succeed with EDC, EDC Gold and EDC Diamond...but there are a great deal more who really struggle and fail.

Through my searching for the past 5 years for the perfect home based, online business, I have discovered a much, much better way. It's a SYSTEM created by Derrick Harper called the Wealth Funnel System. It was created to address many of the short coming of businesses like EDC, EDC Gold and EDC Diamond.

Derrick Harper has 12 years of extensive Internet Marketing experience working with Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies helping them generate untold millions of dollars of profits. He is not an "over-night wonder". Derrick Harper REALLY knows his stuff! He has now taken his vast experience and applied it to a program that can help you realize your dreams!

Here are Derrick's own words about The Wealth Funnel System: The only home based business system that teaches you the fundamentals of starting, marketing, and growing your own online business. I've taken my vast knowledge of generating a serious income using the Internet to allow you to work from anywhere on the planet.

And I've made it "paint-by-number" simple with a how to start and grow your own online business method. It's 100% duplicative and within 6months you'll be a successful online Internet Marketing specialist.

PLUS... "The Wealth Funnel System is the ONLY Home Based Business I have found with a 100% MONEY BACK GUARANTEE. The guarantee states; You will make a minimum of $5,000 Per Month within 90 days or they will give you 100% of Your Money Back." How's that for believing in your program?

People Fail, Systems don't. The Law of Attraction Marketing system uses a reversignups attraction factor that is very hard to resist from the prospect perspective. One can literally become an attraction manget, pulling people in that are ready to paying. It is a win-win situation. Zig Ziglar is famous for the saying, "you can have everything you want in life, if you will just help enough other people get what they want." This is a modern day dipiction of an ancient practice surfacing all over the planet today called The Law of Attraction, brought to modern day entertainment format in The Secret DVD. This is waking up the world in terms of mankind realizing there's enough abundace in this world for everyone.

It is a very simple yet powerful concept. "The movement of money creates wealth. You are wealthy in direct proportion to the amount of money that passes through your hands." --Sherm Mason

Prospecting Success

Prospecting Success

Prospecting Success

I spent my formative years in ballet class. While other kids went out to play, I went to ballet class. In high school while others attended after-school activities or hung out together, I went to ballet class. By my mid-teens I was taking class five or six times a week or maybe even more. This was a habit that continued until injuries sidelined my professional dancing career.

This habit of taking a ballet class every day was not mine alone. Every dancer, professional or those seeking to become professional, takes class every day. It's a habit, it's a reality, it goes with the job. It is impossible to dance professionally without taking class. Even the stars, Barishnykov, for example, take class every day.

In my late teens I had some personal crises that stopped me from going to class everyday. At one of my rare appearances in class, my teacher asked where I had been. I told her what was going on in my life. She said to me, "That's no reason not to take class. You have to take class everyday, no matter what."

Sounds harsh doesn't it? But she was right. Not taking class only gave me something else to feel bad about.

When I started my sales training business, I used that same "no matter what" approach to prospecting. I prospected every day. I started out with absolutely no corporate connections. I was a ballet dancer, I only knew other ballet dancers. I did, however, know how to prospect. On and off for years my "day job" had been telemarketing. I began to prospect the same way I learned to take class, every day, no matter what. Five years later I have a thriving business. Even today I continue to prospect every day, while perhaps not for as many hours. Every day brings some prospecting activity, no matter what.

So how does the busy entrepreneur, busy owner or sales professional find the time to prospect every day, no matter what? The answer is simple, put it in your calendar. Schedule time in your calendar every day for prospecting activity. At the scheduled time put aside what you are doing and prospect. Do not take other calls, do not work on other projects, do not allow interruptions. Simply prospect. When the time you have scheduled is over, stop prospecting and go on with your other tasks.

Schedule appointments with yourself to prospect and keep those appointments. We get angry and upset when prospects miss appointments. Ask yourself, "Why is it all right to miss an appointment with myself?"

Prospecting success (just like learning to dance) comes over time. In order to keep your sales funnel full you must constantly be on the lookout for leads and prospects. By keeping your funnel full you avoid the boom and bust cycles that so many entrepreneurs and sales professionals experience. To be successful you must engage in some prospecting activity everyday, no matter what. It's a habit, it's a reality, it goes with the job.

How to Make Money with the Reverse Funnel System?

How to Make Money with the Reverse Funnel System?

How to Make Money with the Reverse Funnel System?

There's not to much to this... the Reverse Funnel System makes you money, bottom line. But it is a system, albeit a very profitable system, but a system to say the least.

That means the system needs you to drive traffic into the system. Without a person manning it all the system will is just sit there. But if you spend your time submitting articles, posting to blogs, spending time on myspace marketing, and everything out there that there is on the internet to drive traffic into your system then it becomes successful.

All the reverse funnel system is...is an automated sales process that closes people into your business for you automatically. Ty Coughlin and the inner circle hired VERY expensive copy writers, and web conversion experts to design the system. It is a brilliant system.

But you are the fuel that feeds the system. Get out there, start working and start generating traffic and if takes two weeks, three weeks for the traffic to really start coming along, don't get down on your self, think positively because if the traffic is there, the money is there. The conversion rates with this system are mind blowing, because the system works.

You make money with the reverse funnel system by driving traffic to your copy of the system and the system does the rest.

I have had very good results in the reverse funnel system, but like I said before if your first two weeks produce nothing you don't have to worry about it. I didn't sell a single paid survey let alone a full GRN membership. But before the end of my first month I had almost 20,000 dollars in commissions and thus can only expect this to expand in the future.

The system works when you work it. If you're out there marketing and driving traffic the system will be out there making you money. And that's the bottom line to making money with the Reverse Funnel System.

Use eBay to Generate Website Traffic

Use eBay to Generate Website Traffic

Use eBay to Generate Website Traffic

If you're looking for a way to market your website, and you haven't considered using eBay, then you could very well be missing out on one of the lowest cost website marketing options around. Let me explain...

Everyone is looking for a way to generate targeted website traffic at the lowest possible cost, but it seems that a whole lot of people are overlooking an awesome website marketing tool that is probably already book-marked inside their browser - eBay.

EBay has over 65 million registered users buying, selling and browsing all kinds of products around the clock. Just think, what if we (website owners) had a way to funnel some of that traffic off onto our website? Well, we do, and we can do it relatively cheaply!

The key to accomplishing this is the eBay 'Me' page. The eBay Me page is sort of a profile-like page that you setup for your eBay ID. When potential customers look at your auctions, and your ID, they will see a little 'Me' icon graphic that links to your Me page. And it's very important to note: your Me page can link to your website.

Let's see how this could work with an example. Let's say you have a website that sells a course on how to make money using Pay-Per-Click (PPC) search engines and you want to get traffic from eBay to this website.

A good way to go about doing this is to create a small report on PPC Advertising that you can market on eBay. This report should contain useful information, but it should also pre-sell your main product - your PPC course on your website. Your PPC report should be something that you're willing to give away or sell for very little, in the following example, you'll be selling it for 99 cents.

You then need two more things: an enticing auction advertisement, and an enticing Me page that drives visitors back to your website.

You're now ready to open your auction. The particular auction you're going to create should be a Featured Plus auction, which means it is displayed at the top of the auction listings before the non-Featured auctions (regular auctions). You will also want the auction to be a Dutch auction, which means you can sell multiple items from the same auction. A Featured Plus auction will cost around $20.00 to post, along with about $5 - $6 of miscellaneous posting fees including the Dutch auction fee. So your cost for selling a low-cost report in this manner will typically be about $26.00.

Now, I hate to go over figures because there's just so much that contributes to the outcome of those figures, but let me throw out some typical scenarios as I experienced them.

If your auction has an enticing title, you could very possibly get 100-300 visitors to your auction. I've personally seen auctions that sell home business informational products get up to 1500 visitors! Let's say you get 150. Of that 150, about 20% will visit your website through your Me page, which works out to about 30 visits, again my experience.

Of the 150 visits to your auction, you will generate some sales for your report. If the auction copy is good, it isn't uncommon to get 10% - 20% sales, especially at the 99 cents range, which works out to 15-30 purchases. Let's say you generate 15% sales, which works out to 22 sales (rounding down).

Now let's tally everything up. At the end of the auction, you've spent $26.00 on the auction itself. You made $22.00 on the report sales. And you generated 30 website visits. If we do the math, you came out paying about 13 cents for each website visitor ($26.00-$22.00/30 visits). Plus, you have a copy of your report in the hands of 22 hot prospects (remember your report pre-sells your website PPC course). Can it get better than that? The answer is yes! I've been conservative with these figures. The fact is, you can actually make money and drive traffic to your website with some practice/tweaking.

Interesting to note, at the time of this writing, Overture was charging anywhere from $0.51 for the tenth place position and $2.55 for the number 1 place position for the "PPC" keyword. In our example, we generated 30 visits for 13 cents per visit from 1 auction. What if you had 10 or 30 of these types of auctions running?

Granted, I realize that this example may not fit everyone's situation, but you should be able to apply it to some extent.

The formula is really quite simple:

1. Sell something that pertains to your website that you can give away or sell for very little. Information is the perfect product.

2. Then make sure your auction (and auction title) is extremely enticing - try to drive as much traffic to your auction as possible.

3. Then make sure your Me page drives the visitor to your website (maybe offer something free, like another report).

Give it a try... you may have to tweak it here or there... but the formula does work.

Sincerely,

Michael Ellis

My Website Needed More Targeted Traffic. Guess Where I Found It?

My Website Needed More Targeted Traffic. Guess Where I Found It?

My Website Needed More Targeted Traffic. Guess Where I Found It?

There's nothing new about using joint ventures to get traffic to websites. And good information is freely available from many internet marketing sites on how to set up JVs.

This article is for the 97% of webmasters who aren't aware of a particularly powerful JV partner who already exists, and is willing to work with you.

Before I reveal all, let me just check.....

Like me, I would image you'd be happy if:

Your JV partner's site gets huge traffic.

The vast majority of page views are by targeted traffic.

You can create links wherever YOU like from their site.

You can start now. There's no delay in setting up the JV.

The JV continues as long as you want.

It costs you pennies to set up and run.

Does that sound like it's what you're looking for in a JV?

If so, welcome to eBay. You're new joint venture partner.

But I Thought....

"eBay?" I hear you ask, "Isn't eBay just an auction site?"

Well, it certainly started as an auction site. Today, eBay is an ecommerce phenomenon.

eBay's 1.5 billion page views puts it in sixth place on Alexa traffic rankings. Ahead of Amazon, AOL and CNN.

eBay members make 79 million targeted searches for items each day.

There are 35,000 categories within which to place items for sale.

There are eBay auction sites in 27 countries.

eBay has 125 million registered users.

40,000 new members join eBay each day.

What we have here is a hugely successful internet business with massive traffic. And, thanks to eBay's sophisticated categorization and searching mechanisms, the traffic is totally targeted.

More importantly, there are several smart ways to drive eBay's targeted traffic to your own website. All of these clever methods add up to what I call the eBay Traffic Funnel.

Does it work? Well, I sell a communications product from my website. I run 5 simple auctions in the appropriate categories using the principles of the eBay Traffic Funnel. Each auction costs me 30 cents and runs for a week. I get around 300 targeted leads from these auctions to my website every week. Not bad for one dollar fifty!

Let me show you just one of the ways to get hold of that targeted traffic...

Sell, Sell, Sell

First of all, you make eBay part of your marketing mix. You start selling your products on eBay.

Why do I say this? Well, eBay isn't just for mom and pop businesses anymore. IBM, Disney, Motorola, Xerox and Dell, are just a few of the major corporates that now use eBay as an additional sales and lead generation channel.

Creating eBay auctions is easy. Anyone can do it - literally. But if you don't want to learn, you can use a Trading Assistant. These are eBay experts who will create, run and manage auctions on behalf of others for a percentage of sales or a small fee.

When you set up your auction one of the decisions you make is in which category to place your item. This is important. Visitors to your auction page - just by being there - have self qualified themselves as being in the market to buy products in that category. This is targeting in real time.

But merely creating the auction isn't the trick. Here's the key tip. In your auction page, make sure you tell your viewers that if they've any questions about your auction, your products or your policies, they should email you. And encourage them to do this by having a live email link in your auction, like this one brian@more-auction-sales.com

As soon as they make contact with you, you've acquired a targeted lead you wouldn't have got any other way. You can start building a relationship. You can get them on your list, direct them to your website and start selling to them.

Pieces of Eight

I've only the space to show you one way in which you can direct your share of eBay's targeted traffic to your website. There are eight ways in total. If you want to know the other seven, you'll find them in my free ebook 'The eBay Traffic Funnel'.

Setting up a JV with eBay can produce significant results. There isn't another business on the web that gives you access to the targeted traffic eBay supplies for the price of a few pennies. Best of all, 97% of webmasters have yet to realize the power of this.

The opportunity for you and your website is there for the taking.

Sorting Through the Good, the Bad, and the MLM Ugly

Sorting Through the Good, the Bad, and the MLM Ugly

Sorting Through the Good, the Bad, and the MLM Ugly

You know, if there's a surefire killer of a beginning networker, it's the old deal where the new networker wastes so much time finding the right folks to sponsor.

As you are well aware, the key to building yourself that lucrative residual income is not only to get yourself those required retail customers but also to get yourself that downline group of folks. And it all starts with your sponsoring efforts. It's your biz after all.

So lets quickly cover what most, and I mean the vast majority, of new networkers do when they're first sponsored...

It really can be summed up in a few words...

They spend too much time talking with the wrong folks and not enough time talking with the right ones. Or not talking to the right ones at all.

Simply put, most networkers find someone to approach about their new business. It doesn't matter how that person is approached.

Be it through the 3-foot rule, postcards, phone calls, the phone book, advertisements, approaching someone on the street. Whatever.

The key here is that beginning networkers find someone in their sights and they fall into the trap of not letting that person go regardless of whether they are probably a complete waste of their prospecting time and money.

Why does this happen? Good question.

Well, it happens because that is an integral part of human nature. We don't want to let up on a possibility until we absolutely know that that possibility just isn't going to give us what we want. In THIS case a good person to sponsor.

Regardless, even for some of us, even though we know this person isn't the right person to sponsor, we still won't let go. There's something about going through an experience as sometimes hard as networking, and doing it in numbers makes it easier.

Let's look at it from a real-life perspective...

We find ourselves talking with someone on the phone. We just met this person since they're from our cold-market. This person sounds like a good person to send a big package of info to, but we just aren't quite sure. We don't know if we should thank them for their time and hang up the phone, or if we should indeed send them that big package, at our expense, and see what comes of it.

If you've been networking for a while, even as a beginner, you've probably been here. And if you haven't, read closely.

So what do we do?

We decide to send out that big package that in the end cost us around eight green ones.

We're thinking... "I don't know, she just sounded so good and she seemed to say some of the right stuff and oh well, what the heck...it's only eight dollars."

And what happens a week later as we're still trying to get a hold of that person after our fourth phone call to them and our three previous voicemails haven't been answered?

The answer?...Nothing.

That person flaked on us.

And what do we do?

We scratch our head and tell ourselves that we don't know what happened.

"That person was not a good prospect, but they looked sooo good, I just don't get it."

We continue to wonder and then just chalk another one up to experience. We're eight bucks lighter, a little disturbed about all that happened, and then we just ever so slightly beat ourselves up for not knowing that that person would flake on us like that. We should 'know better' we tell ourselves..

Next time we 'won't let them do that to us'.

And what happens next time?...

The same thing all over again.

Now let's get into the meat of this insight.

~~~~
Why is this happening?
Well, there are several reasons. And yes, unfortunately, you're one of them.
Now don't zone out on me yet. NO reprimands or brow-beating here. This is a family-friendly insight. :-)
YOU'RE the reason only so far as you are a beginner in this whole game and you haven't yet discovered this weird fact of human nature.
What fact? How should I put it so as not to insult folks who fit under this category. Hmmmm...
Oh well, I'm brutally honest at times so here goes...
People are flakes.
Not you, just those other folks. :-)
People will lie to no end to put a stop to something that they don't feel comfortable being an active participant in.
Be it a relationship.
A J.O.B .
A date with someone.
A sales pitch.
You name it.
People don't do that to be mean. They just do it to end their pain with the situation. It's not about YOU. It's about them and their uncomfortable-ness inside themselves.
Remember that.
But the aspect that IS about you is that fortunately you can learn some new behaviors with and this will foster a new growth in your business. And at the same time keep those hard-earned bucks of yours where they belong. In YOUR pocket. Or purse.
I'll explain.
You see, basically there are three types of so-called prospects that you'll come across in your sponsoring efforts. And during your prospecting.
~~~~

There are those folks who are asleep. What are they asleep to? Simply put...life.

They're dead inside. They're walking zombies. The blood is coursing and the skin is warm but nobody's home. These are people who wouldn't know a good opportunity no matter how nice it sounded.

Why? They're not interested.

In fact, they don't even know that they're not interested. They don't have any thoughts in their lives about doing a home business. They don't have any thoughts whatsoever about doing MLM. There's just nothing there. They're asleep.

They're dreaming of riches yet oblivious to what can really get them there. These are the folks who scream at you to "get me off that damn list."

Or they say something along the lines of...

"I don't remember responding to that."

"I've heard of MLM. Isn't it one of those pyramid thingies? Doesn't everybody loose money but the one on the top?"

"Yeah sure, that sounds okay but I have to go because the news is on the television."

"Nah, I don't care if you're giving away money. I'm not interested."

"Sure, send me some info and I'll get back to you."

"Do I have to spend money? I don't want to spend too much."

"How much will it cost? I only have a few bucks to spare this week."

"Why do I need more money? I have enough. The rent is overdue, but I'll get it somehow. The kids can skip eating for a couple of days right?"

THESE are the folks who are asleep in life.

Stay away from them. The minute you smell them or sense their presence or hear their snoring...move on. Quickly.

They'll waste your money, your time and your life. Apologize to them for waking them up and continue with your prospecting efforts.

~~~~
Okay, the next type of prospect you'll come across....
This type of prospect is just waking up. They're kind of between the space in life where they're not quite asleep and yet they're not quite awake to the world.
They're still rubbing sleep out of their eyes. They're yawning, and trying to orient themselves to what's happening around them. They may be somewhat confused but they're letting their minds wake up to the world around them.
Are they alert and fully with it and raring to go? NO.
Are they willing? Perhaps, but it's hard to tell.
You can't really tell who they really are when they're awake because they aren't there yet. They're still trying to figure out what they should be doing and where they should be going with their life that day.
Think about it. Isn't that the way you are when you first wake up? I'm talking about those first few seconds on that day when you jolt yourself awake and have to ask yourself what day it is and should you be heading off to work or sleeping in again.
We've all been there. It's a very confusing state to be in. Not quite asleep and not quite awake.
So, who are these folks who are in limbo-land? Or should I say la-la-land.
Let's hear what they say and do.
"Send me the info and I'll think about it for a while. Call me in a week." You call back and they haven't watched the video yet. This goes on for several weeks to no avail.
"I haven't gotten the time to listen to that tape yet. I've just been so busy you know. This week was especially hellish. Call me again in a few days."
"You called me last week? I don't remember you, can you tell me what this is all about again?"
"I DID sign up with the company, but they're telling you I didn't? Hmmm, that's strange..."
"I've been thinking about a home biz, but I'm just not quite sure if this is what I want to be doing."
"I did MLM before and it didn't work. Why should I try it again?"
"I got my desk straightened out this week and I'm getting ready to get started."
"Can you call me back at a better time? Perhaps in six months because I'm right in the middle of this other deal that might pan out for me."
"I really like the way the products sound but I'm just not sure if I should be doing this just yet. I don't know..."
Are you beginning to see the types of things the prospect who is just waking up sounds like and does? They're on the fence and don't know which side they want to step down to. They can't figure out exactly what it is they should be doing for themselves right now. They're still getting ready to get ready.
Are they potentially bad prospects? No.
Will they do something someday? Maybe.
But unlikely.
But let me ask you, do you have the time with your limited eight to ten hours a week to work your biz to find out if they have what it takes to be a superstar? Or even maybe become a retail customer of yours? Most of us don't.
But this is where most networkers get stuck. They stay with these folks and hang onto them for dear life. Because, "hey, who knows they just might turn into that next diamond I need to qualify for the next level in the comp. plan."
Right? Hard to let go of them. There is that whole bit about hope after all.
And so then what do most networkers end up doing with these folks?
They chat.
They discuss stuff every week.
They become friends.
They learn about each others family, lives, jobs, and such.
But no one is working their biz and sponsoring folks and retailing products.
Lots of friend-shipping stuff going on here. But that isn't why you joined MLM is it? You joined to make money, didn't you?
Most people agree.
So, let's move on to the last type of prospect you'll come across.
~~~~

This type of person is one who is fully awake to life and the world surrounding them. They're out of the slumber zone and they're moving through life. Sleep is nothing but something that needs to be done in their lives. They're out there ready to greet the day and raring to go.

Get out of their way 'cause they have a mission in life.

They're truly full of life. They know where they're going and honestly nothing's going to stop them. They'll figure out how to get what they want in life. They work hard on themselves. And they work hard at what they set their minds to. They aren't afraid to try new things and take risks. They believe in themselves and take necessary risks. Fear is only a feeling to them. It's not real and it doesn't stop them on their journey through their wakeful state in life.

These people are about as far from sleep as you can get and they've long ago wiped the sleep from their eyes.

They're awake and going for it.

You can't say the wrong thing to these folks. And these are the folks you NEED in your biz.

What do these people say and do?

"Sure I can do that. Just tell me what to do and I'll do it."

"I've already placed an order for the products even before I first talked to you."

"I wanted to see how they worked with me so I just had to get on them."

"This sounds awesome to me. I'm in."

"What do I do next?"

"Can you tell me more about what this is about? Sounds very interesting."

They call YOU.

They reach out to YOU.

They're energetic. Alive. Full of spirit and foresight.

They sponsor folks in your business.

They've sponsored folks in past businesses and for whatever reason are looking to start fresh again.

They're coachable and willing to learn.

They just do it. All that it takes.

They're non-competitive but instead results-oriented.

They have an attitude of personal success in life - almost an aloofness about their actions.

They care about others, but won't let other people's limitations and hesitancies stop them from getting what it is they're after.

~~~~
Okay, now we know all about the three types of folks you could possibly run into during your prospecting efforts. Lets summarize the ones you should be focusing ALL of your time on.
Obviously, the people that are asleep are better left just that way. Asleep.
Don't waste your time on them. Sound callous? Maybe. But you're in biz, remember? You want that elusive residual income don't you?
Well then, don't waste your time on these business deadweights. Leave them alone to continue sleeping.
As for the one's that are waking up....
They too should be mostly left alone. Don't ignore them or write them off right away. Feel them out. See what they do. See if their actions match their words. See if they're everything that they say they are.
See if they get into action. If they don't, put them out to pasture. Don't be mean. Don't write them off forever. Just put them on your 'call in six months' list. If they're still in that same slumber state then, than DO tear up that contact card. Let these people sit on that fence. You go build your business to success and lead by example.
If they ever wake up then they can call you. In the meantime you'll be building your business. You won't be waiting for them but you'll be available WHEN they're ready to start and ready to follow through.
Finally, we're left with the only group of folks that you SHOULD be spending your time with....
The ones who are awake to you, your opportunity, and what you have to offer with your products and your biz.
Get to know them. Find out who they are. Introduce them to your upline and your upline's upline. If THEY haven't already done so!
Stick with them. Give them what they need and then get out of their way.
These are the folks you're in business for. They're why you have to get the sifting and sorting process down to a fine science. You can then sit back and look at what fell out of the sifting funnel you put all those prospects through. These winners.
You need to get yourself so tuned into these three types of folks that you can spot those who are sleeping and those who are waking up within a few seconds of talking to them or seeing them. After a short while they become so obvious and you then know exactly who you should be spending your precious time with.
You see, as you know this is a game about building yourself that big downline that everyone talks about. Since you're going to be a part-timer from the start like most folks you only have a limited amount of time to really work the biz. You don't have time to waste.
Sure, go ahead and get your feet wet learning the ropes. But after you're through that stage, you'll discover that if there's one thing that you don't want to be wasting - it's your time. And secondly your money.
Remember, the sleeping and the vast majority of the waking- up business parasites will suck you dry before you know it. That's why you have to be a smart sorter.
Keep looking for your 'diamonds in the rough.' Sort through all those insignificant grains of sand that aren't awake to the world. Do this until you find that pearl.
And when you find that pearl, believe me, you'll know it. You'll be thinking to yourself that this person's too good to be true.
You'll not only be listening to what they say but you'll also be seeing their actions match those words because they're wide awake. It'll be so exciting it'll almost be scary. But you'll know that you have a ringer that you need to focus all of your efforts on.
That is, until they tell you to get lost and just let them get to work. Stop cramping their style and move on to finding that next diamond.
And remember that old saying...
'You can't say the right thing to the wrong person. And you can't say the wrong thing to the right person.'
Get out there and find out who's right for this business and who's not. Find the folks who are awake like you are.
Remember, you didn't have to be sold on network marketing, did you? You knew a good thing when you saw it because YOU were wide awake. So, go out there and look for others like you. They're there. Your mission is to find them.
You deserve at least that much with your burgeoning MLM business.
I hope this insight was helpful with your business efforts.
Why Do Most Home Based Businesses Fail - I Have The Secret
Why Do Most Home Based Businesses Fail - I Have The Secret
Why Do Most Home Based Businesses Fail - I Have The Secret
It is a well known fact that over 90% of the people who join an internet based business make little, if no money at all. I think I know what I am talking about because; I have been a casualty of a couple different businesses I have joined in the past. Despite how turn key the business has appeared to be; there was always something most home based businesses are missing the boat on that has made success in many of these companies a rare occurrence.
We have all come across The Reverse Funnel System, Carbon Copy Pro, EDC Gold (and Diamond), Liberty League International, Emerald Passport and so on and so on. Their various products consist of junkets to wealth seminars and motivational seminars in exotic places, or they sell you a bunch of e-books on how to be an internet guru with a gazillion pages of information, which if you want to devote the next 20 years of your life trying to read and learn everything that you\'ve been sold, you might learn something. Sure they tell you there is no selling, telling or explaining but they forget to tell you that you have to do a whole lot of marketing and promoting, and that it may cost you a bunch of money to do that.
With many of these businesses you are also expected to give up the first 2-5 sales to your sponsor, before you make your first buck. Most people never even make that first sale let alone 2-5 sales. Most people need and want to make the big bucks, they\'ve been made to believe they can make right away; especially if their going to have to sink a bunch of their money into marketing and promotion, which they are not taught how to do.
So as I have looked at a number of the internet based businesses over the years, I finally realized what the missing link was; most of these companies fail to teach their members how to market their businesses effectively online. They fail to teach them how to recruit other members, like themselves. They fail to teach how you can begin earning without spending an arm and a leg on marketing and promotion.
Recently, I came across a guy named Derrick Harper and The Wealth Funnel System. In his presentation online he told me how most companies out there did fail to teach all of us effective online marketing and promotion. He also said that with his system I would not have to give any of my sales up to him, my sponsor or any one else. He also told me how I could learn to market for free on the internet in the beginning and then start investing money into advertising and promotion, only after I had begun making sale. Everything I was hearing from him rang true with me. It sounded like everything I had realized that was missing from the other companies. So I investigated The Wealth Funnel System even closer and signed up for Derrick Harper's free 10 day video course on how I could become a successful online marketer of not just the Wealth Funnel System but of any product or service that I would ever want to market and promote. On top of everything Derrick also was offering me a guarantee in writing that he would give me my money back in 90 days if I failed. That was on heard of anywhere else.
Learning from Derrick Harper on those videos was like sitting at my computer with my buddy who was teaching me everything he knew about internet marketing, promotion and recruiting. I found for once that the video presentation was the most effective way I had ever found for truly learning how to become an internet guru. And if I had any questions, I could call my buddy and he would be there to answer them or tell me to go back and look at the video again.
I know that I will not fail with The Wealth Funnel System. Plus I am learning a skill that will help me with my real estate business and with promoting anything else I need to promote. So move over, Mike Dillard, Jay Kubasek, Don Glanville, Dereck Gehl, Ty Coughlin and the rest of you so called internet gurus; a whole new group of internet gurus are about to be produced with the help of the Wealth Funnel System and Derrick Harper.
5 Proven Strategies for Internet and Network Marketing Success
5 Proven Strategies for Internet and Network Marketing Success
5 Proven Strategies for Internet and Network Marketing Success
There are many opportunities in network marketing to help you reach your life goals. You can work from home and enjoy a steady cash stream while setting your own hours and doing what you love most to earn an income. But if you're like the majority of people who join a team of online network marketers, you probably aren't sure how or where to get started with Internet and network marketing. Here are five proven strategies to get you started.
1. Start Your Own Network Marketing Website
With your own network marketing website, you can build a profitable business model for your team. Your website can be used to provide information to newcomers as well as update your team members on a regular basis. A website can be used to enhance off-line network marketing as well. For instance, you can print your Web address on your business cards, letterhead, envelopes, postcards, and in printed ads. Those interested in your proposal can visit your website for more information. Your website can contain almost unlimited information that will help convert prospects into team members.
2. Start Your Own E-zine
An e-zine is an electronic newsletter sent by email to a database of subscribers. An e-zine builds trust and establishes you as an expert. At your website, you can set up a subscription form for your e-zine. Those who sign up are obviously interested in your offer, so you can send e-mailings to them weekly and use the e-zine to get them back to your website. This is a great way to turn visitors to your site into network marketing partners.
3. Answer Questions in Forums and Discussion Groups
With forums, you cannot merely advertise your business, but you can answer questions and include a link to your email or website. Find work-from-home forums online that are related to your network marketing business or that might cater to your target audience. Observe and read the questions and answers for a while before posting to get a feel for the people and atmosphere. Then, answer those questions pertaining to your type of business in a truly helpful manner. The person asking the question might visit your website as well as any others who might read the post. It's a great way to meet new people and market your business.
4. Create Network Marketing Excitement
Another thing you can do online is to create network marketing excitement for your team members. At your own website, you can hold contests for your team members, random giveaways, provide hosted space for your team members to create their own profiles or mini-websites, do feature bios on your team members, and more. These will motivate your network marketing team to work harder and increase their cash stream (and yours) while having fun.
5. Content Writing about the Internet and Network Marketing
One of the most powerful ways to promote your website is to add valuable content articles to your website on a regular basis. Articles should be targeted about network marketing and working from home. They should provide your target readers with helpful information. At the conclusion of each article, you can include a signature/bio that will lead the reader to your sales pages.
Add articles to your website on a regular basis and submit articles to free article directories for maximum results. Articles will help attract search engine traffic to your website without any cost to you.
There are also many other methods of Internet promotion for network marketing such as e-zine advertising, banner advertising, contextual or paid search engine ads, free traffic exchanges, and affiliate programs. Whether you are part of a global resorts travel business, a profitable reverse funnel system, or another successful business model, you'll be amazed at the results when you combine all of the promotion methods above for the Internet and network marketing!
Top Ten: The Easiest Way to Write a Content-Rich Article for Your Niche
Top Ten: The Easiest Way to Write a Content-Rich Article for Your Niche
Top Ten: The Easiest Way to Write a Content-Rich Article for Your Niche
Whether or not you consider yourself a writer, penning articles that are of value to your target market is one of the most effective ways to get your name out there and become known as an expert in your niche, attract visitors to your website, and gain new subscribers for your ezine or other Pink Spoon (free offering to entice prospects into your Marketing & Product Funnel).
And crafting a Top Ten article is one of the easiest ways of actually getting that article written! To help you, I've created a Top Ten on how to put together your own Top Ten article:
1. Visit www.topten.org
This is a great website to give you ideas and samples of how a Top Ten article looks. Once your article is complete, you can add yours to this website as well. (There's also loads of good info on this site, but try not to get too distracted by it until your own article is finished... :))
2. Decide who your Top Ten is going to be written for.
To give you the best return for your investment in writing your Top Ten, it should be written for your niche. You can write a general article that applies to your entire niche, or you could choose a segment of your niche to write the article for.
3. Decide what your Top Ten is going to be about.
To take #2 a step further, choose one issue that your niche seems to grapple with over and over, and write the article based on your solution(s) to that problem.
4. Give it a title.
For example:
Top Ten Ways to Choose the Perfect Massage Therapist for You Top Ten Reasons for Not Writing a Blog Top Ten Steps to Making a Sound Business Investment Top Ten Mistakes to Avoid When Choosing a Babysitter Top Ten Blunders Most New Business Owners Make Top Ten Questions to Ask Before Hiring A Virtual Assistant Top Ten Answers to How to Design a Website Top Ten Requirements for Traveling to Europe Top Ten Points to Make in Any Presentation Top Ten Hints to Keeping A Clean House Without Maid Service
(I just made all of those up, so feel free to "steal" any of them.)
5. Create a summary paragraph about your Top Ten article.
Write a short paragraph that describes what your article is about. Three to five sentences should suffice. This will become your introductory paragraph.
6. Write down your Top Ten points.
Write down the ten points you want to make in your article. Keep each of the ten points short. For example, if your top ten article is "Top Ten Questions to Ask Before Choosing a Massage Therapist," your Top Ten points might be:
Point 1: Is the location of the massage therapist's office desirable?
Point 2: Does the massage therapist accept your insurance?
Point 3: Are the fees reasonable for you, if insurance is not accepted?
Point 4: Can you talk to some current clients?
Point 5: Is scheduling an appointment easy?
Point 6: Can you have your choice of a male or female therapist, if you have a preference?
Point 7: Is the environment of the therapist's office to your liking?
Point 8: Does the therapist hold certain qualifications that are important to you?
Point 9: Does the therapist have a reasonable cancellation policy?
Point 10: Know you don't have to stay with a therapist if they aren't right for you!
7. Explain each of the ten points.
Write 3 to 5 sentences to illustrate each of your ten points.
For example,
Point 1: Is the location of the massage therapist's office desirable?
Think about how much time you want to spend getting to and from a potential massage therapist's office. Less is probably more desirable, or, if you're like me, I drive 30 minutes because his office is very close to the only Starbucks around where I live, so the drive is worth it to me for my weekly chai.
8. Write your author's resource box info.
For example, one version of mine says:
Alicia M Forest, MBA, Multiple Streams Queen & Coach, & Founder of www.ClientAbundance.com, teaches coaches, consultants, online entrepreneurs and solo professionals how to attract more clients, create profit-making products and services, make more sales, and ultimately live the life they desire and deserve.
For FREE tips on how to create abundance in your business, visit http://www.ClientAbundance.com.
9. Proofread!
Please proofread your article and your author's box. Even better, have someone else proofread it, too. Best is to have at least three sets of eyes look it over before you consider it ready to be published.
10. Leverage your article.
Submit your article to article submission sites and directories. I personally use and highly recommend SubmitYOURArticle. Also, submit it to www.topten.org. Use it in your ezine and on your website as a free valuable resource for your readers and visitors. Eventually group together a series of your articles with a common theme into an ebook to create a passive stream of income for you.
Follow these ten steps and in no time you'll have written a solid and polished article with which to market your business!
How to use Emotional Content to Increase Visitor Response
How to use Emotional Content to Increase Visitor Response
How to use Emotional Content to Increase Visitor Response
Did you know that many folks make "buying decisions" when they are moved emotionally? Other traditional medias have made the most of these principles and taken advantage of them for many years, whether it be a TV commercial or an ad in a magazine. People are emotional beings and people make decisions (either good or bad) when they are emotional. If something causes a customer to become upset, they become angry and try and solve it. If they become upset enough...they'll make a decision to perhaps discontinue your service and hire another service. On a positive side, the TV media bombards us with commercials that try to make an advertisers product seem fun or cute. The "emotional content" tactic is in nearly every advertising and communication media from print to radio to TV and yes, even the web. Emotional content is used to sell everything from fast food to children's toys.
What every Toy Marketer knows:
Toy marketers have known for years that the focus in a toy commercial is not so much on their new product, as much as it is on the facial expressions of the child. They're showing the absolute joy and delight of playing with that toy. Often images in the mind of the child who is viewing the commercial might evoke a sense wonder, adventure and excitement. Sometimes, a toy marketer may aim much deeper psychologically by showing the child in their commercial, enjoying their toy with either Mom or Dad sitting on the floor playing with him or her. The child viewing the program may even desire that toy more simply because they think that "if they only they had this toy", their Mom or Dad might take more time to sit down and play with them too!
Emotional Content in Traditional Marketing:
In the example above, a TV commercial does not focus on the parent...they are selling to the child. However, selling a toy on the web, in an online toy store, is different in the aspect that you are actually selling to the parent (a child does not have a visa card to place an order). The benefits of a toy that appeal to the parent will be things like, it's safety features, the fact that it "educational". However, focus on appealing to the child might zoom to the top again in a children's entertainment site. If you want to sell a toy, you must make it desirable to have on the child's level. Most of us who have kids, know the impact and the drive that a child can have towards getting something from a parent. When a child "wants" something, that child will persistently find a way to go after that item until usually, the parent often gives in and buys it.
What about the silly characters brought to life in a fast food commercial and various the toy giveaway promotions? Certain fast food restaurant marketers know that children have the power to drag their parents to the local fast food place based on the fact that they can get this neat toy. All of this starts by a commercial in which that tiny little toy is made to appeal to the child's emotions. Is this not true also with certain breakfast food cereals and the "free prize" or "game" you get in every box? Of course as we grow from children to adults, we are not influenced by emotional media elements anymore....or are we. Let's look now at a few actual examples from my experiences on the web.
On The Web, Emotional Content Influences Peoples "Buying Decision." Actually, with the web being a multimedia experience, we have lots of opportunity to work with emotional content. After all, your visitors are just human beings too? We're really no different online than offline. We have an important emotional side of us that can be appealed to. Here's what I have learned from my client successes.
If you are trying to sell a baby crib, but nobody is buying it,...put a cute little baby in the crib and PEOPLE WILL BUY IT!
If you are relying on graphics, photos, animated gifs or any type of images, you want a combination of quality with uniqueness. Will your image make your audience smile or will it make your audience cry? Where might it be appropriate to make your audience cry? Actually, all it takes it the right scenario.
Example: I know of several businesses who are utilizing messages based on the events which occurred September 11 in the US. (The Sept. 11th tragedy in the US). In these examples, the websites selling products are appealing to the visitors sense of patriotism or they may deliver messages of hope and inspiration. As important as these points are, they are also making good sales. In the case of the Sept. 11 example, some sites are selling but also contributing a portion to the cause.
This leads to another thought....be very mindful of current events and current interest topics that you hear about on the media. Sometimes the most obvious strategies can be staring us right in the face. Be mindful of all media topics and in many cases you can bring about some good out of what would otherwise be missed.
Whatever you are selling for retail online...."Lifestyle graphics" work best!
Example: If your selling a piece of furniture for the living room....display a picture of the furniture being used in someone's living room. The visitor may say to themselves...."look at this comfy looking couch". "This guy looks like he is really enjoying himself". (The image might be of a person sitting comfortably on the couch, in their living room....feet up and arms relaxed).
TIP: Lifestyle photos like this are much more influencing that just a product displayed in a showroom.
Create pages that are not "hard sell". Instead, focus on the product benefits in way that it appeals to the emotions. (Keep in mind that many people will buy spontaneously, but they do not want to "be sold" something). Most people come to a web page in search of information. The "loud" or "hard sell" approach does not work on the web.
If you are promoting something with emotional appeal which is already established through other medias, then also use it in your web page and tie it in.
For example, what do you think of when I say the 3 words...Zoom Zoom Zoom.
Remember the web has the potential to be a powerful multimedia experience. Is there a place for the use of music to contribute to the right atmosphere? Moving your audience just takes a little thought. Let your mind think outside of what is already being done. I am not talking about traditional stuff here, like putting a flash commercial on your site. Extend your creativity and be original. li>Does your product or service offer a solution to people's problems? Is there a way that it can be promoted with an emotional angle to it for greater impact?
I learned that the use of Humour at times is very important. It can be in the form of text, graphics, audio, and video but just make sure it is good humour. People want to feel good on your client's web page. Good humour will influence emotion and "great humour" can funnel volumes of traffic into your site just by word of mouth.
Can you recall seeing humour used on a web page that made you laugh out loud? If so, just think back and see if you don't recall telling a friend to "check it out"! Then there may be sites where it might be hard to use humour (A funeral Parlour or perhaps a Divorce Lawyer). On the other hand, with a little creativity, who is to say it could not be done....with greatest of tact of course.
A good example of the power of emotional content can be seen in instance where something about a site is so moving that it makes the viewer want to tell everyone they know!
Example: Interview with God (Very emotional feel good stuff)
Example: Alien Song (a simple 30 second animation that is guaranteed to have you telling your friends to check it out).
So what other ideas might you consider using to make emotional impact with your audience?
Is it possible to take old ideas and put a new spin on them?
What I mean by this is taking some older ideas and refresh them. There is nothing wrong with older concepts if they work, but sometimes all they need is re-thinking. One of the first things I ever experimented with was the idea of having a little fun with the old "printable coupon" idea. You know the old "discount coupon" which can be put on a Web page so the visitor can print it and bring it in to get a discount? At the time, I thought, what else could we do besides give folks a discount coupon to print off? It needs to be fun and have a little emotional appeal and still deliver value.
I created what I called the "SAY THE MAGIC WORD" campaign for a client.
Instead of printing coupons from my client's web site (a local Garage), I introduced the following promotion, which became somewhat popular with the client's customers.
When you visit the site, the visitor would scroll down the page and click on the image of a speaker. Suddenly you would hear a voice say "The Magic Word Is...." and it would give you a "word". Now this was not just any word, this was quite a magic word because when you take your car into the garage for a tune up, give your keys to the service manager and "say the Magic Word" you learned from the web site, they would cut your bill by 15%! Better yet, keep changing the magic word and you kept your audience coming back to the site.
People had fun with it...everyone told their friends about it, it delivered value. Honestly though, it was just a new spin on an old idea, but both the client and customer loved the concept.
I challenge you to put on your thinking cap.
You see as you introduce things like "humour" or other emotional content into use....you can also widen your scope of SEO promotion. Have you checked the top KEI values around subjects of comedy and humour? Hmmm...Well I guess that's an idea to be examined then isn't it?
Explore your clients business, explore what's going on in the world, but always remember the powerful impact that emotional content can deliver, if tastefully done.
Creating An Effective Online Presence Part Three
Creating An Effective Online Presence Part Three
Creating An Effective Online Presence Part Three
This article will be the last in my series on Creating an Effective Online Presence. This article addresses blogs, newsletters, your sales funnel, and joint ventures. This is certainly not meant to be an exhaustive review of each category but rather a quick synopsis of each one.
Blogs
A blog is short for weblog and it's in actuality, an online journal. Blogs can be stand alone websites or can be incorporated into your website with its own page.
Creating a blog can be advantageous for a variety of reasons:
* They will improve your standing with search engines as long as you post to them regularly.
* They help your readers get to know you in a more personal way.
* You can use your blog to market your existing products.
* You can use your blog to announce new product offerings.
* Blogs can help you create new information products. As you blog each day, you can actually organize your posts in such a way that you could blog a tip sheet, e-course, article or even a book.
If you want to start a blog, it's easy. You don't have to be a web designer or have any particular web expertise. All you need to do is go to www.typepad.com and start using their system. They will take you through the process step by step.
Newsletters or eZines
Having a newsletter or eZine (electronic magazine) is a great way to stay in contact with your clients and potential clients. A newsletter is one of those products you can offer for free to entice casual browsers to give you their name and email address. Some people argue that newsletters are no longer useful but I disagree. While some people are overrun with newsletters that hardly ever get read, for the amount of work it takes to put one together, it is worth the potential audiences you will reach.
One of the things about online marketing that will help you stand out from your competition is over delivering. A newsletter is one way to do that. Use your newsletter to deliver outstanding information to your targeted market that directly addresses their pain or their desires. Giving away great information is another way to build trust on the web.
Sales Funnel
The sales funnel is a metaphor for the way your bring clients to increasingly higher levels of commitment in their buying cycle. The idea is that all your potential clients will enter the mouth of the funnel by agreeing to give you their name and email address. Then, the concept is that you create increasingly more expensive products and attempt to move your customers through your sales funnel progressively by offering them the next product.
The funnel analogy is used because at each level, less of your customer base will pursue your offer until you get down to the skinniest end of the funnel where only a few choice clientele will go.
You must create a progressive line of product offerings that are targeted to your audience both in content and modality. Don't offer teleclasses to a group who historically doesn't purchase teleclasses. Perhaps you will need a CD product instead.
And you will need to draft compelling sales letters for each of the products you offer, which was discussed in part one of this series.
Joint Ventures
The last area I want to talk about may be the most lucrative on the Net, actually. Anytime you can partner with another professional you are increasing your exposure and broadening your client base.
There are many advantages to joint venture partnering:
* You gain access to another person's email list.
* You gain access to another person's expertise.
* You increase the odds of others wanting to partner with you.
* You get to put yourself in front of audiences you wouldn't otherwise have access to.
There are many opportunities for joint venture partnering but the typical one you see is one person promoting another person's book in an attempt to make it a bestseller on a particular day. In addition to the ones who send this notice out to their list, there are other joint venture partners who offer free bonus gifts in exchange for increased, targeted traffic to their sites.
I know I have covered many topics briefly and you may have multitudes of questions. I recommend Michael Port's book, Book Yourself Solid, as an excellent resource to fill in the blanks for you.
10 Steps to Creating Your Internet Marketing Plan
10 Steps to Creating Your Internet Marketing Plan
10 Steps to Creating Your Internet Marketing Plan
Copyright 2006 Donna Gunter
If you're the owner of a small service business, having a solid Internet marketing plan in place can both increase your name and brand recognition locally in your geographic area, as well as expose you to a whole new set of potential clients throughout the world. If you have a business plan or vision that is written, you only need to integrate this Internet marketing piece into that existing plan. However, if you are like many of my clients, you carry your business and marketing plans in your head without bothering to commit anything to paper.
Here are ten considerations you need to make as you complete your Internet marketing plan:
1. Objective of Internet Marketing Plan: What do you want to accomplish by using Internet marketing? To find new clients? Provide services and info to existing clients? Sell services or products? Educate your target market or your staff about your product or service? Create an online community for your target market? How much money to have to spend each month on this Internet marketing plan? Having a goal and budget in mind will make your marketing more effective.
2. Marketing Funnel: The most successful online business owners have a marketing funnel (think of it as an upside down triangle) through which they "funnel" clients. The process begins from the wide top of the funnel, representing low-cost products or free give-aways, and moving clients down through the funnel to the narrower portions which represent gradually increasing investments from the clients from your higher-priced products and services. What products and services do you currently offer? Are they at varied price points that would create a funnel effect? What plans do you have to increase your product or service line? Will those new offerings plug gaps in your marketing funnel?
3. Your Competition: Knowing and understanding where you stand among your competitors can you help you strengthen your marketing message. Do a keyword search for the terms someone might use to find your business online. Write down the URL's of your top 5 competitors. How popular and relevant are their sites? You can check their traffic ranking with Alexa, http://www.alexa.com/#traffic, as well as see what other sites link to them. Does your competition offer something unique? Where are the gaps in the service or product offerings?
4. Target Market: Instead of trying to marketing to everyone (the shotgun marketing approach), find a clearly definable target market that you can easily describe and locate. Are they male or female? What age group? What industry? What socio-economic group? Where do they hang out on- and off-line? What do they read? To what groups and associations (real and virtual, personal and professional) do they belong? How much money do they make? Can they easily afford your product or service? What keywords are they using to search for businesses like yours online? (Note--you can do keyword research with free downloadable software, http://www.GoodKeywords.com).
5. Solution to a Problem: The reason that someone will buy your product or hire to you to provide a service is to solve a particular problem that they have. What problems and issues plague your target market? How does your product or service solve that problem? How does your solution differ from that of your competitors? What makes you uniquely qualified to provide the solution to their problem?
6. Branding Your Business: Your domain name can either help you be memorable or cast you into a sea of "brandless" solutions. At a minimum, you'll want to buy both your personal name as well as the name of your business in the .com version, if it's available. Then buy the .com versions of your product names and program names. If you use a full-featured domain registrar, you'll be able to point and mask these domains to internal pages of your web site, or use them as stand-alone sales letter pages.
You may also think of problems faced by your target market or solutions that you provide and buy domain names in the .com version of those as well. Internet marketer Dean Jackson brands his ebook on how to stop a divorce by owning the domain name, StopYourDivorce.com, This is a compelling solution to his target market -- men who have been ignoring their wives' complaints of marital dissatisfaction and come home one day to an empty house and a note telling him that she's filing for divorce.
7. Assess your website. Your web site should be visually appealing, with one primary font for the text and a simple primary color scheme, along with an easy-to-navigate layout, and readily identifiable buttons to link to other pages in the site. Your content should focus on and address the problems of your visitors and how your product or service can help solve their problems. Rather than listing the features of your product or service, detail the benefits they'll gain from purchasing your product or service. People rarely buy features -- they buy benefits. Don't depend on your web site designer to write your content -- that is best done by you, as you know your business and your target market better than anyone.
Present a clear call to action that is clearly shown on every page of your site. In an online business, your primary call to action should be getting the visitor's name and primary email address by asking him subscribe to your ezine or by giving him access to a free ecourse, special report, audio recording, or ebook. Lastly, provide an abundace of readily available information to demonstrate your expertise (articles, blog posts, free downloads, giveaways, contests). Your visitor is always asking WIIFM (What's In It For Me) -- make your web site about your visitor, not about you.
8. Online Business Management Technology: Do you have access to the appropriate services and technology that will help you sell your product or service online? At a minimum you'll need a merchant account (permits you to take credit card payments) that includes a virtual gateway (enables you to process transactions online) and a full-featured shopping cart that will permit you to sell both physical and electronic products and create a series of autoresponders to follow up with buyers and non-buyers alike. Depending on your marketing plan, you may also want to investigate email newsletter distribution services, online appointment setting services, stand-alone autoresponders, blogging software, article submission sites, online press release distribution services, website content management services, and links exchange management services and software.
9. Internet Marketing Strategies: How will you create traffic to your website? There are countless ways to do this, including: pay-per-click purchases (in which you buy a keyword at a search engine and pay for placement on that search engine for that keyword and pay for each visitor who clicks on that link and is sent to your site); organic search engine listing ranking (in which your site comes up at the top of the non-sponsored listings on a search engine by having keyword rich descriptions in the page title and page desciption meta tags and then optimizing each page for no more than 3 keywords in the first 250 words on a page); well-written email newsletter that is published on a regular basis; submission of articles on topics related to your target market to article submission directories; regularly post entries to a blog aimed at your target market, full of content discussing issues related to that target market; series of podcasts containing interview with experts of interest to your target market; ongoing series of teleconferences containing value-added content for your target market; submission of online press releases with new tips information for your target market; exchange relevant links with others in different industries with the same target market;
10. Building a Team: You'll never be able to do this all alone. The most successful business owners don't even try. You need to add experts to your team who are great at what they do so that you've got the time and energy to go out and do what you do best -- selling your products and services to your target market. Some great experts to add to your team include a virtual assistant or online business manager, an online business coach, a web site designer, a graphic designer, a writing expert (editor, ghost writer, proof reader or copy writer), a bookkeeper, and intellectual property attorney, to name a few.
To conduct a successful Internet marketing campaign, you need to integrate your plan into the overall marketing plan/business vision that you have for your service business. Some businesses will thrive off Internet marketing alone; however, for most, Internet marketing simply complements and enhances your offline marketing strategies.
Is That Internet Business A Pyramid Scheme? Here?s How
Is That Internet Business A Pyramid Scheme? Here?s How
Is That Internet Business A Pyramid Scheme? Here?s How
Is That Internet Business A Pyramid Scheme? Here?s How To Tell In world where their?s a myriad of home based businesses it can be difficult and time consuming to find the one that works, and that will put you into profit, while freeing up most of your time. There are lot of systems out there that pride them selves on tons of BOGUS software and products such as: e-books outdated software and other fluff that they put up to front that they in fact a real work at home business, when in fact its just a cloak for reselling the business and by definition is defined as a ?a pyramid scheme?. The 1980?s saw a ton of these rise and fall quickly leaving the guys at the bottom nothing, and fat wallet for owner. Today there is internet go figure. This is why its important when looking at any business to evaluate the product for REAL MARKET VALUE, this will be the greatest indicator of success. First of all pyramid schemes have no real product ( or pretend to such as old software, e-books and other no use junk people will never buy. Perfect examples of this are: big ticket to wealth, road map to riches, passport to wealth, perfect wealth formula, craig garcia and michael corcoran s edc, edc gold and edc diamond. This is a common tactic you will see in over hype internet businesses and are a tell tale sign of a flat outright scam. Often these so called products are a cover up for a pyramid scheme, it just astounds me how many so called businesses online and abroad are blatant pyramid schemes. No there?s nothing wrong with having a sign up fee as long as legit products are being sold, not just the opportunity that will definitely crumble the pyramid leaving you in the rumble and the top point or owners wealthy. Just ask around and see if anyone involved with the business your looking at really made a dime, because this so rare. However if you can read between the lines you?ll learn the truth that they only sell the business. Even if you are comfortable with just reselling the business I can guarantee that only the original few that first joined are going to have the bulk of the sales and continue to parade their ?heavy hitters? over and over again as if you too will make millions, while everyday there on forth the market becomes over saturated and sales slow to a trickle and inevitably the business implodes and crashes down on your dream of being rich. The END. I myself have spent several months searching for the real deal, and I?ve found it with the wealthfunnelsystem. Derrick Harper, a 12 internet marketing has put a powerful marketing and selling system into place with this wealth funnel system. I?ve never found another business that this high of a success rate. With over 55 hours of video training step by step this truly a paint by numbers approach that trains a member even with zero experience to succeed. Also unlike many another businesses, this system really does encourage ON GOING TEAM WORK, and won?t leave you in the dust. See mentors like me have a vested interest in you because what your going to make, I?m going to make too till infinity, not just a couple of sales. Once your system is in place $1000 commissions can easily become a daily occurrence. This is the end of your search period. Please check the following sites to get your financial future on track for success. Does that biz opp have a bunch of 2nd rate e-books and old software that no one in their right mind would ever really. Are you told that people really do sell that junk, only to find out on closer inspection they only sell and resell the business. Well then you probably uncovered another garden variety pyramid scheme infesting the internet left and right.
Advanced Online Marketing: Training for Using The Reverse Funnel System
Advanced Online Marketing: Training for Using The Reverse Funnel System
When a system comes out closing sales completely for you it can sound too good to be true. Yet, The Reverse Funnel System (RFS) is designed to do just this and closes and average of twenty percent on the back end. Meaning if you can get just five people to pay the fifty dollars for the paid survey in a week, you'll be walking out of your home office with a twelve hundred and fifty dollar week minimum, every week.
So how can you get five people to go through the paid survey in a week? Simply send a hundred people through to your sales page, your own personal copy of RFS.
This can be completed in a number of ways. One I find extremely effective is video marketing and the use of YOU-Tube and Meta-Caf. Video marketing is extremely easy for anyone who has a web cam or a small camcorder. All you need to do is record yourself hyping up RFS, giving out free marketing advice, or maybe even just talking about life. This will drive traffic to your URL and if you can build some conversation, maybe a debate in the comments section of your video, you'll get more views and more traffic.
Now video marketing can also be fun. If you want to spend a little more time than 15 minutes on the video you can design something that will really grab people's attention. Think super bowl. The most appealing things and what sells THE ABSOLUTE MOST for all major corporations is humor and good looking people, combining them just rocks the boat. But as long as the commercial plays into some emotion while exposing the whole money/potential thing, it will be more effective.
If you're not the most video friendly personality there is other things you can do to promote your URL, although trust me traffic will be hurt as the use of video's in cross promotion is one of the most effective free internet marketing methods. Still you can use networking communities to spread the word and well as a number of different written marketing techniques.
But as long as you're driving traffic, your copy of RFS will be working for you and you will be making money. Get to the nitty gritty of internet marketing and do that marketing, drive that traffic and wait for the paychecks.
Online Business Opportunity With The Reverse Funnel System
Recently, Ty Coughlin and his team called the Inner Circle have developed a new online business called the Reverse Funnel System. This system is targeted towards anybody with a computer and an internet connection. I thought this was strange that it was available to anyone, so I started to do my usual investigation that I always go through when something this big hits the market. My normal inquiries generally lead me down a path of disappointment and broken promises. However, this time I was truly surprised at what I found.
I could not believe that so many members of the Reverse Funnel System were having the success that most in other organizations achieve, only after years of failing and starting over. I was also pleasantly surprised to see that non of its members are automatically shipped hundreds of dollars worth of products every month to sell, which normally gets stuck with the team members. As a matter of fact, The Reverse Funnel System members don't ever touch the product that they sell. Everything is fully automated and done online.
How does the system work? The answer lies in the question. It is the system that few others have that makes this such a successful adventure. Ty's motto is "Systems Work-People Fail". What the Inner Circle has done is taken out the human element in the sales process. This system makes it simple for-that's right-anyone with a computer and an internet connection to use. Even those with absolutely no internet marketing experience have made sales with the Reverse Funnel System. I recently spoke with a member who made nine sales in his very first week. The only problem he had was that he did not set up his credit card processor to except a large enough volume of sales in a given month.
Ty and his group have done 90% of the work normally involved in running an online home based business. This includes setting up personal web pages, lead capture pages, auto-responder emails, tracking of all campaign stats, and conducting surveys for potential new members and many other pivotal items in running a successful business.
The Reverse Funnel System even includes a simple to use web based back office. Here you can click on the "Advertiser Database" button and be directed to thousands of sites to place ads directly on the internet. This is the 10% of work that is left to RFS members. The more people that they send to their personal web sites that are included in the Reverse Funnel System, the more likely that sales will follow.
One member explained it to me like this. He said it was like taking a foot long piece of pipe and shoving pebbles into it. Keep shoving more and more pebbles into it. The pebbles are those that visit the members' sites. Eventually pebbles begin to get shoved through the other side of the pipe in the form of sales. The only thing that RFS members are left to do is market their web sites. That is the remaining 10% which is still helped along by the Reverse Funnel System.
Another member told me the she has never had so much support in any business that she has ever been apart of. She explained that the (2) $1000 commissions is the backbone of the entire program. I wasn't sure what she was talking about so she explained in a little more detail. Not only do members receive a $1000 commission per sale, but so do their up line sponsors. So members not only have the support of RFS but also a one on one relationship with their sponsors. She explained that her goal, which she is close to achieving, is to have 60 top line team members signed up. She said that once this is done, all she has to do is coach her team. All she would need to make $15000 every week is a quarter of her team making only one sale.
This is an amazing system that Ty Coughlin has developed. There are thousands of team members that are so grateful for this system, as it has changed their lives forever. I hope that now you can understand how powerful and helpful that the Reverse Funnel System is and why it is taking the home based internet business industry over.
